Southern Aminos – Refund, Return, or Replacement Policy

1. Purpose

Southern Aminos is committed to fair, transparent, and consistent refund, return, and replacement practices that comply with federal shipping guidelines, banking requirements, and internal quality-control standards.

This policy explains when returns, refunds, or replacements may be approved, how they are processed, and the responsibilities customers must fulfill to qualify.

This policy applies to all purchases of Southern Aminos Research Use Only (RUO) products.

2. Return Eligibility (Unused / Unopened Products)

Southern Aminos accepts returns only under the following conditions:

• The return request is made within 15 days of the original purchase date

• The product is unused and unopened

• The protective vial cap has not been removed, altered, or tampered with

• The product is returned in its original packaging and condition

If approved and received in acceptable condition, customers will be issued a full refund minus:

• Original shipping costs

• Any Package Protection fees

• A 15% refund processing fee

Refunds are issued only after the returned package is received, inspected, and approved by Southern Aminos Quality Assurance.

3. Non-Refundable Fees

Please be advised that shipping charges and Package Protection fees are non-refundable.
Once an order has entered fulfillment, these fees are fixed and cannot be reversed or credited under any circumstances.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all product details and order information prior to placing an order.

4. Overview of Refund or Replacement Eligibility

Refunds or replacements outside of standard returns may be issued only under the conditions defined in this policy. Eligibility depends on:

• Order fulfillment accuracy

• Package Protection eligibility

• Evidence submitted by the customer

• Compliance with Southern Aminos timelines and procedures

• Final determination following a formal claim or complaint review

5. Order Fulfillment Errors

Customers may qualify for a refund or replacement if Southern Aminos verifies:

• Missing items

• Incorrect items received

• Duplicate items shipped

• Packaging or vial integrity issues

Eligibility requires:

• Filing a complaint per the Complaint Policy

• Clear photo or video evidence

• Verification through fulfillment and QC logs

If approved, Southern Aminos may issue:

• A full refund

• A partial refund

• A no-cost replacement shipment

6. Shipping Issues: Loss, Theft, or Damage

6.1 Package Protection Coverage

Package Protection covers:

• Lost packages (excluding carrier delays or weather-related delays)

• Stolen packages (exceptions apply)

• Damage incurred during transit

6.2 Filing a Claim

Customers must submit claims through the Southern Aminos Claims Portal and provide required evidence.

Claim filing deadlines:

• Lost packages: 7–10 days after last tracking update

• Stolen packages: 5 days after confirmed delivery

• Damaged items: Within 3 days of delivery

Approved claims may result in:

• A no-cost replacement shipment, or

• A refund issued by Southern Aminos

All claim determinations are final.

7. Product Integrity Concerns

Due to the Research Use Only nature of our products, refunds or replacements are limited to verified issues involving:

• Incorrect labeling

• Damaged packaging

• Vial integrity failures

• Verified testing documentation discrepancies

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Reconstitution issues (case-by-case only)

• Dosing or protocol concerns (no exceptions)

• Subjective outcomes (“didn’t work,” “felt nothing”)

• Research methodology or experimental error

• Any human or veterinary use claims

All product integrity claims require:

• Clear photo or video evidence including label and batch number

• Internal QC review

• Batch, testing, and fulfillment audit

8. Billing or Payment Issues

Refunds may be issued for verified:

• Duplicate charges

• System or processing errors

• Unauthorized payments (bank documentation required)

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Discount codes not applied before checkout

• Customer payment errors after shipment

• Buyer’s remorse

If a chargeback is filed, no refunds will be issued until the case is resolved.
Chargeback abuse results in permanent account closure.

9. Order Cancellations

9.1 Before Fulfillment

Orders may be canceled only if fulfillment has not begun.

Once an order is packed, labeled, or transferred to the carrier, it cannot be canceled.

9.2 After Fulfillment

• Shipped orders cannot be intercepted or canceled

• Refused or “return to sender” packages are not eligible for refunds

• Refunds may only be considered through approved return eligibility or a validated claim

• Items were mishandled, altered, or improperly stored

• Delays occurred due to force majeure (weather, customs, holidays)

• Claims appear fraudulent or abusive

• Customers engage in abusive behavior toward staff

11. Fraudulent or Excessive Claims

Southern Aminos reserves the right to deny refunds and permanently restrict purchasing access for:

• Falsified or altered evidence

• Repeated unsupported claims

• Chargeback abuse

• Misrepresentation of loss, theft, or damage

• Attempts to bypass policy requirements

12. Refund Processing Timeline

Once approved:

• Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days

• Processing times may vary by payment processor

• Refunds are issued only to the original payment method

13. Final Determination

All refund, return, and replacement decisions are made by Southern Aminos Support and Quality Assurance after full review.
