1. Purpose
Southern Aminos is committed to fair, transparent, and consistent refund, return, and replacement practices that comply with federal shipping guidelines, banking requirements, and internal quality-control standards.
This policy explains when returns, refunds, or replacements may be approved, how they are processed, and the responsibilities customers must fulfill to qualify.
This policy applies to all purchases of Southern Aminos Research Use Only (RUO) products.
2. Return Eligibility (Unused / Unopened Products)
Southern Aminos accepts returns only under the following conditions:

The protective vial cap has not been removed, altered, or tampered with

The product is returned in its original packaging and condition
If approved and received in acceptable condition, customers will be issued a full refund minus:

Refunds are issued only after the returned package is received, inspected, and approved by Southern Aminos Quality Assurance.

6. Shipping Issues: Loss, Theft, or Damage
6.1 Package Protection Coverage
Package Protection covers:

Lost packages (excluding carrier delays or weather-related delays)

Stolen packages (exceptions apply)

Damage incurred during transit
6.2 Filing a Claim
Customers must submit claims through the Southern Aminos Claims Portal and provide required evidence.
Claim filing deadlines:

Lost packages: 7–10 days after last tracking update

Stolen packages: 5 days after confirmed delivery

Damaged items: Within 3 days of delivery
Approved claims may result in:

A no-cost replacement shipment, or
-
A refund issued by Southern Aminos
All claim determinations are final.
7. Product Integrity Concerns
Due to the Research Use Only nature of our products, refunds or replacements are limited to verified issues involving:

Incorrect labeling

Damaged packaging

Vial integrity failures

Verified testing documentation discrepancies
Refunds will not be issued for:

Reconstitution issues (case-by-case only)

Dosing or protocol concerns (no exceptions)

Any human or veterinary use claims
All product integrity claims require:

8. Billing or Payment Issues

Once an order is packed, labeled, or transferred to the carrier, it cannot be canceled.

12. Refund Processing Timeline
Once approved:
